Statement der Band dazu:

Dear friends, We’re very sorry to say that we're having to cancel a number of dates on our European tour this October.

We've tried everything we can to continue the tour as planned, however the economics of touring in the present climate with costs of crew, van hire and fuel have proved too challenging. Covid left us in a hole and the sheer inequality that is rife within the music industry has meant we simply can't afford to take a loss anymore as we are barely struggling to keep our own homes upright.

Germany, Italy, Czech Republic and Switzerland we will be back, that is a promise and we hope you understand. Our dates in the Netherlands are unchanged.

We thank you so much for buying a ticket and for supporting the band; when we return the party will be yours.

Bereits Anfang März haben LIFE Details zu ihrem mit Spannung erwarteten dritten Album – „North East Coastal Town“ - bekannt gegeben und mit „Big Moon Lake“ gleich noch die zweite Singleauskopplung enthüllt; ein Hook-lastiger, bemerkenswerter Banger voller Trademarks der UK-Post-Punker LIFE.

Der Track „Big Moon Lake“ folgt auf die Single und erste Auskopplung aus dem neuen Album - „„Friends Without Names““ - die im November 2021 veröffentlicht wurde und bei BBC6 Music auf A-Rotation lief. „Big Moon Lake“ wird von einem Video begleitet, das im Studio der Band am Fluss Humber spielt. Unter der Regie des befreundeten Regisseurs Luke Hallett ist das Video eine Hommage an die Top of the Pops der 1980er Jahre und bezieht sich insbesondere auf das Schaffen der Kultband THE RED GUITARS aus Hull.
