zum 10. Label-Geburtstag das US-Duo Dunia and Aram, das sein Album "Bedfellows" live präsentiert. Produziert wurde das Album von der Kölner DJ-Legende Hans Nieswandt, der folgerichtig auch der DJ des Abends und der anschließenden Party ist.

Dunia and Aram entstammen der US-Ska-Punk-Szene und haben auf ihrem ersten Album als Duo eine wunderbare Mischung aus Dub, Ska und Soul sowie aus eigenen Songs (hauptsächlich) und einigen Cover-Versionen (David Bowie, Billie Holiday, Vivien Goldman) erschaffen Vivian Goldman schreibt in ihren Album-Liner-Notes: 

"Bedfellows. Good fellows, in the sense of fellow humans; fellow travelers, pillow sharers, studio dwellers, stage angels. Dunia Best and Aram Sinnreich. Duniaandaramandaramanddunia. It has a rhythm. Their rhythm. The timing of two hearts and grooves that started to synchronize when Aram got the gig as Dunia’s bass player in her punk-ska band, Agent 99, all the way long ago in 1995. Across the years, they have duo-logized in Dubistry and Brave New Girl, and yet, Bedfellows is the first album they have cut as – not a duo, but a band. Tender and tough, lilting between dub, ska and soul, ‘Bedfellows’ is the sound of symbiosis, steeped in their shared sensibility of New York and punky reggae. Maybe it is because the pair are a couple, who have been making music together for twenty years, in different configurations. Or it could be the way that one successful audition eventually led to marriage, children and years of exploring music together, building home studios to jam around the kids’ schedules. Intimacy has made their music deep. Here they sound naked."
