Sie gilt als der ‘weibliche John Peel’, ein Ehrentitel, den sich Marcelle van Hoof durch ihre originellen Livesets und ihre Radioshows erworben hat. Genau wie Peel spielt sie eine verrückte Auswahl der seltsamsten Klänge: Dubstep, Electronica, Dancehall, Drum ‘n’ Bass, Techno, Minimal, Riot Grrls, Leftfield Hiphop, Breakcore, Dub und vieles mehr.
Marcelle zählt zu den stärksten Live-DJ's und spielt ihre Sets auf Bühnen in ganz Europa. Seit 2 Jahren beglückt sie nun schon ihre fanatischen Fans in Hamburgs Golden Pudel Club mit ihrer Eklecktischen Musikauswahl.
Dazu macht sie auch wochentliche und monatliche Internet Radio-Sendungen in Amsterdam (DFM), FSK (Hamburg) und Dandelion (London). In 2008 erschien ihr neues Mix-album, nur als Doppel-LP auf Vinyl, auf dem deutschen Klangbad Label.
